About us

A warm welcome from our
Founder and Lead Therapist,

Why Mental-Health4U exists
Mental-health4u began with a simple idea: mental health and neurodivergence shouldn't have to be treated as completely separate conversations.
Through our work, we've seen how important it can be to understand the whole picture. Sometimes difficulties that look like a mental health difficulties are connected to an individual's neurodivergence. Sometimes mental health difficulties exist alongside neurodivergence. And sometimes they have nothing to do with each other at all.
We wanted to create a practice where there was room for all of these possibilities — where people could be listened to without assumptions, supported without judgement and understood as individuals.
You don't need to be neurodivergent to belong here. You simply need to be you.

Compassionate, evidence-based support for children, young people, adults and families.
At Mental-health4u, we believe that everyone deserves to feel heard, understood and supported. Seeking help can feel like a big step, and we're committed to providing a warm, welcoming and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions and experiences at your own pace.
We recognise that no two people are the same. Whether you're experiencing anxiety, low mood, trauma, emotional difficulties, or you're navigating life as a neurodivergent person, we tailor our support to meet your individual needs, goals and strengths.

Our Approach
Our work is grounded in evidence-based practice, combining proven therapeutic approaches with compassion, collaboration and respect. We work alongside you to understand the challenges you're facing, identify what matters most to you and develop practical strategies that support lasting change. We strive to provide neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed and person-centred care.

Our Values
Compassion – Every person deserves to be treated with kindness, dignity and respect.
Collaboration – We work alongside you, recognising that you are the expert in your own life.
Evidence-Based Practice – We use approaches supported by research while adapting therapy to your individual needs.
Neurodivergent-Affirming Care – We celebrate neurodivergence and work with your unique way of thinking rather than trying to change it.
