My wonderful mother in law took some of my doom pile of laundry to wash and dry for me and brought it back all folded and clean.
It took my ADHD brain a whole week of full intentions to put it away. Every day I would tell myself I'll do it. I even put it on my duvet so I would have to put it away before sleep. Somehow I managed to move it into a pile and sleep around it. Serious ADHD work-around.
Enough was enough... I asked my husband to body double me and I put FRIENDS on in the background and finally got it sorted. I started by organising into piles according to where items will go and took it one pile at a time, taking comfort breaks in between. The sense of achievement from the organisation afterwards was wonderful. It also spurred me onto change sheets and have a shower which can't be bad.
